Chandarana Food Plus supermarket branch at Golden Life Mall Nakuru
Chandarana Food plus supermarket at Golden Life Mall in Nakuru opened its doors to customers on 7 October 2021 with His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Nakuru County Dr Eric Korir, Egerton University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage, and Chandarana Food Plus Director Mr Anil Thakkar cutting the ribbon.
The supermarket is the anchor tenant at the Golden Life Mall and will take a lion share of the space available for tenants.
"The mall already has 50% occupancy, and the presence of Chandarana Food plus supermarket will attract more people. This will go a long way in improving the profitability of Golden Life Mall, a project by the Egerton University Retirement Scheme," said the Vice-Chancellor.
The Deputy Governor welcomed the supermarket's opening, adding that its presence is indicative of Nakuru's development as a city. He said that well-known companies in the county will increase employment among the youth and enhance Nakuru's image as a premier tourism destination.
