The mission of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery is:

1. To produce high caliber graduates who provide quality services to Farmers, Government, National and International Institutions.
2. o provide Diagnostic services, Consultancy, Research, Extension, Advisory and Clinical Services nationally, regionally and internationally.
3. To generate relevant technologies through Science Technology and Research Innovations.
